1Sa 5:8-9. So God deals with them of Gath, when it was brought thither;
1Sa 5:10-12. and so with them of Ekron, when it was brought thither.
1 Samuel chapter 6
1Sa 6:1-9. After seven months the Philistines take counsel how to send back the ark.
1Sa 6:10-18. They bring it on a new cart with an offering unto Beth-shemesh.
1Sa 6:19-20. The people are smitten for looking into the ark.
1Sa 6:21. They send to them of Kirjath-jearim to fetch it.
1 Samuel chapter 7
1Sa 7:1. They of Kirjath-jearim bring the ark into the house of Abinadab, and sanctify Eleazar, his son to keep it.

1Sa 7:3-6. the Israelites, by Samuel’s means, solemnly repent at Mizpeh.

1 Samuel chapter 31
1Sa 31:1-6. Saul, having lost his army, and his sons slain, he and his armour-bearer kill themselves.
